Refund disputes are often lost because key records are missing, especially terms shown at checkout and proof of return.

Preserve these first

  • Order confirmation and invoice.
  • Terms and cancellation policy at purchase date.
  • All refund requests and responses.
  • Any return tracking or delivery evidence.

Save terms as they appeared at purchase time

Businesses can update website wording. Capture a dated screenshot of refund and cancellation terms from the transaction period, not only the current version.

If your payment provider opens a case, send the full timeline in one message so the dispute handler can verify sequence quickly.
